Wedding Slideshows

As a photographer, I always enjoy looking at photos, but when I want to re-live the moments, (especially on weddings), I just love watching the slideshows!
Slideshows brings the emotions back… it recreates the flows of the wedding day, the fun, the joy, the laughters, even the tears.

After I do all the color balance, retouching, and all other post-processing on weddings pictures, I notice that my wife usually goes straight to my blog to find the slideshows instead of clicking through the photos in the online gallery. (I knew this because I could hear the song immediately playing from her computer).
She said that after seeing each slideshows, she felt as if she was there.
*We have a son now, so my wife can’t accompany me anymore to weddings, although she’s still crazy about weddings!*

Wedding Slideshows are fun, they’re romantic, they are timeless!:)

some FAQ about Slideshows:
Question: Do I have to pay extra for the Slideshows?
Answer: Wedding Slideshow comes as a “Free” feature when you book my Silver, Gold, or Platinum packages. You can purchase an additional slideshow for $300 fee.

Question: Can I play the slideshow on a DVD player?
Answer: Nope. Wedding Slideshow can’t be played on a DVD player. It’s only viewable on my website. (this is so you can visit me often :p )

Question: How long will you have the slideshow on your wedding photography website?
Answer: It depends! if you treat me well and give me extra cakes on your wedding day, I might have it for as long as Yosphoto is around. *just kidding*.
Well, the real answer is: for at least 2 months after the initial post was made. So far I don’t need the extra space on the server, so most of the old ones from 3 years back are still around. but yeah, a minimum of 2 months from the post date of your wedding on my blog.

Question: Other photographers slideshow can play on a DVD player, why yours is different?
Answer: Ok, Ok.. I lied about the previous question. The fact is, this slideshow “can” be played on a DVD player, BUT it’s an additional service(not from me, but the software company) that I don’t think is valuable enough for me to purchase just yet. (would you pay an additional $300-$400 for the slideshow feature to be viewable on a DVD player? so far my clients says a resounding: “NO!”).

Question: I really like your ****** package, can you deduct the Slideshow value from your package?
Answer: Unfortunately, you can’t substract the slideshow price from the package. If I can be frank.. making a slideshow is a very time consuming tasks, especially for someone who’s a perfectionist like me. But it’s there as a service for my clients.

Claudia and Stephen Wedding

Claudia has been “eyeing” my photography for a while..
I think it was sometime in 2008 when she saw my works on Facebook.
(I believe it was Autumn’s wedding):)

Her big day has arrived!
The rain brings good luck and it adds additional “Fun” to the outdoor photo session.
I really like the Candy Table idea! lots of kids love them (but I actually saw more grandpas & grandmas flocking to THAT table!).:)

My congrats to both of you! Mr. & Mrs. Stasa!

Amy and Ron Wedding

I met Amy and Ron last year and they plan to have their wedding at Tara Inn.
yep! a little bit outside of Pittsburgh but it was such a beautiful venue! (do I hear Gone With the Wind?)
just 2 weeks before the wedding, I met Amy to discuss more about the detail and she mention that their wedding will be featured in WHIRL magazine, so check back for a link that I will post once they feature Amy+Ron wedding!

As I’m writing this blog, Amy and Ron are probably sipping their margarita on the beach in Mehico:)
I have to beat the plane taking them back to Pittsburgh! so I am posting this today.

Amy & Ron, congrats once more! I had fun at the wedding!

now, a little review about Tara inn:
Located in Clark, PA, Tara-inn is a little bit out of my usual way, it took me about 1.5 hours to get there from my house in Churchill.
But once I get there, I feel like I’ve been taken back to the early 19th century!
I really like the ambience, the neat-ness of the place, how all the little details and decorations are presented.
If I get a chance, I will go back there to stay as a guest with my wife, it will be a nice getaway from our modern, technology-ridden life style.
and not only that, there’s a lake behind the Inn, so we can go there to take a little walk.
I would recommend Tara-inn for a very intimate, gone-with-the-wind, relaxing wedding.
